Pros

If you're going to spend $200 on a trash can, this one is worth every penny. This trash can is very premium and is a joy to use. I guarantee you this will be the best step trash can you will ever own!

The construction is solid, and yet it’s not super heavy. It's something you use everyday and it looks great. Nice stainless steel finish exude quality product.

The trashcan is visibly smaller, which i like. Recycling container is easy to remove for disposal and ease of cleaning. It even has a place for a scent pod inside the lid.

We like that it deters you from opening manually as well. Operates smoothly, does not obstruct our space, and is quite nice looking. I appreciate not having the lid slamming down on you and potentially making a mess.

Cons

The plastic is not smooth so i am concerned it is going to be a tough to clean dust and grime catcher. When i filled out return they want me to pay shipping on a product that arrived damaged. Mine came dented too. I was given the option to return for ... Read More

The lid barely opens when stepping on the pedal. You cannot even flip the refill around to dispense new bags from the outside of the can.

Amazon is responsible if the pail had a defect. This is, quite simply, designed to fail. Definite design flaw.

It is even dented on all sides.

It was packaged in it's original box so it looked ok on the outside.

It got dented so i demoted it to the barn.

Although it was expensive, it beats the many different cans we have had over the past 10 years.

Make sure you get this brand, not all stainless steel trash cans are the same.
