The esthetics are nice as is the functionality. The only downfall is the price.

It's reliable and works flawlessly. The voice activation features work flawlessly when you want it to. It saves money on battery and frustration. As a kitchen gadget, this trash can brings joy to me.

The sensitivity is calibrated so that you really have to get right up to the can to open it. I have it in my hallway, and i was worried that it would open every time i walked by. The lid closes securely, keeping odors contained.

Lid opens when people walk past, and it closes too quickly. No voice or sensor opening. Doesn't show when lid is closed either. Only part to fix this issue is to buy a new lid assembly with the gadgets in it at half the price of a new can.

The can looks good but functionality wise is poor. It was marketed as the next generation to the consumer. It is sturdy and good looking, but the sensor isn't great.
