The sensor's responsiveness is erratic at best. This negates the claimed benefits of a touch-free experience.

It works great, looks fantastic and the battery life is phenomenal.
I like how clean and easily this works, and i like that it is rechargeable (tbd, haven’t recharged it yet).
We’ve had it for nearly a year and we’ve only recharged it twice.
We had the older model of this exact same product, which finally, after perhaps 10 years, stopped pumping, even with fresh batteries.

My daughter had and i really liked it but it is just too expensive.
More expensive than others – but we love it -recommended at americas test kitchen

I got battery polarity wrong a time or two with the old one, and it didn't damage the unit, it just didn't work.

Differences in the new onewhile shaped similarly and styled essentially identically it is considerably shorter so may not hold as much soap though it is close if not equal
