Pros
Not the cheapest but well worth the extra. After having countless plastic rubbish.
It comfortably takes 12kg dog food (simpson’s 80/20) with space to spare. The advise i can offer is, this container does hold a 12kg bag of good quality grain free dog food.
Keeps the food fresh and keeps our kitchen from smelling like kibble, which is what we wanted it for.
Outside metal is easy wipe clean no smudges or fingerprints. In side has metal liner easy remove and wipe clean. Easy to clean, too. No mess around anymore.
Magnetic scoop with magnet so it attaches to the lid. Strong magnet pulls it back into place with zero effort from the user.
Cons
The clips for sealing the food bin are flimsy. The clip is not air tight.

Looks nice, keeps the food fresh and the build quality is as good as it gets.
If i needed further storage i'd definitely buy this product.

Packaging/appearance
The packaging is not adequate for transportation and mine arrived badly dented in three places.

Competitiveness
I have been hunting for an airtight container big enough to hold a 12kg bag of kibble.
Worry free life with quality products when you use simplehuman products.
Quite an expensive bin but very well made with a 10yr warranty.
I use james wellbeloved adult dog food and a 15kg bag doesn’t fit!

This has arrived with scuff marks and a dent in one side i’m really reluctant to send it back just due to the hassle of getting it to a click and collect

If you have a bag of dog food that contains grains wheat maize etc then one bag will defiantly not fit in this container as the food is full of cheep fillers not meat based
