It may be hard to believe believe but the raised edges really do keep the towels under control but i think my favorite feature has to be not having to hold the holder to tear off a sheet

Ive used these types of holders at the homes of friends or family and they always fall down pull toward me or otherwise dont work very well

The holder is robust and heavy and fits large bounty rolls but it doesnt work to pull a piece with one hand only gets unrolled

You had to unscrew the top off to replace the roll
