Foot pedal seems to be of good quality. My husband has no problem using the foot lever (he has pd) the lid/foot pedal system is as quiet as a church mouse and works great. The foot pedal elevates the lid quietly!

The 45 liter/12 gallon trash can is above and beyond what i expected. It's sturdy, big enough to let a standard 13gallon trash bag expand as it's being filled. No large recyclables in there to clutter it up so that probably helps.

The quality is no where near where it was and i'm so bummed about it. My biggest disappointment is that nowhere in the online pictures it is clear how big this gap is. On top of that this, according to the poster, can cause damage long term.

The lid makes a strange groaning sound when it closes. When you lift up the lid, that same lip is in the way when you lift. The lid is very fragile.

This product desecrates that entire brand. Just don't buy this clunker.

This trashcan is a scam. The bag thing is a dealbreaker.
