We didn't really like the magnetic magnifier and would have preferred a flippable 1x / 10x, but that is just our preference.
I recommend it so stridently that my sister is getting the wall-mount model.

The wire is so short that if the mirror dies mid use which it will you have to put the mirror next to an outlet to charge it again

Now you can use the mirror while it is charging but thats no good to you when the mirror is magnified and you cant see your whole face at once

Note that if it freezes there is no need to send it back just do a hard reset by pressing the power button of a long minute while its plugged in

I love the fact that you can control the amount of time that the light remains on my older one did not have that option and constantly turned off forcing me to wave my hand to turn it bak on during makeup application

Unit sat on a shelf and when i replaced it with the new one it was too tall and would not angle down point down as much so i had to adjust the shelf
