Pros
The battery compartment is in a convenient location, just behind on top, holding 4xaa batteries. Easy to replace the liner without removing the lid.
Iterate on this for future bins, but it definitely needs a little tweaking.
It’s pricey but built to last and convenient. Matches my refurbished grey and white kitchen. The bin is a good size and is very sturdy.
Almost every aspect of this bin has been thoughtfully considered. Looks classy. Does exactly what it promises.
Cons
Returned after 2 weeks, open sensor wouldn’t work. Back to mail online home.

Imprressed with the quality an the stylish look.
Only had for a week, but very happy with the quality, look and sensor lid operation.
We previously had one with the foot pedal that opened it up.
Price
It’s worth the price, large 45 litre bin, quiet on opening/closing.
I've had other bins that cost half as much, but they always end up broken.
Packaging/appearance
These go in quickly and pull out perfectly, they are strong and you pull the strings and you have a closed bag to drop in the wheely bin.
Competitiveness
I have three simplehuman sensor bins and they all work brilliantly and operate silently and are economical on the batteries.
If you’re a bit of a germaphobe like me, this bin will save your life (i mean, not really, but it’s a nice thing to have.
Had a cheaper brand 50l sensor bin before.

It’s also moderately sensitive which means you aren’t waiting a million years for it to open and it stays open until you are done

The way the bag folds over the top edge means the inside of the bin will never see waste so you will only be cleaning the outside

I have taken a star of this particular bin because of the high price simplehuman make a similar 45l sensor bin for half the price with the only difference being is that this has a plastic dispenser for spare bags inside at the back of the bin and a all metal lid
