Pros
Fit “like a glove” with a little room to grow. Keeping the xs for her and ordering someone else's smaller gloves for him now. I know boys have larger hands as well so that’s a factor in the unisex sizing.
Cons
Mittens are clearly not waterproof in any sense. Took them inside out and sure enough, there was a tear of the inside liner. I suspect they are getting moldy between the many layers.
