Pros & Cons
Pros
They're hydrophilic, meaning they love water. It is 0 celsius today with a good breeze and they feel warm and do block the breeze.
The *only* thing i miss is a nice trim pocket on the thigh like the eddie bauer guide pants have.
Cons
These pants are not waterproof nore are they even water repellent. Both look like mc hammer pants not to mention the length could fit someone in the 6 foot range easily. The pants were loose fitting too, it is just bad quality.
That seems to be the only seam not reenforced for some reason. I usually trust the "amazon choice" badge, but it will reconsider and do my homework next time.
Highlights
Quality
I am very happy with these pants and expect to use them a lot this winter.
Haven't used but 4 or 5 times, but the quality is there.
Both gash hao & outdoor ventures were made with the same material, but outdoor ventures has better style.
Packaging/appearance
They fit differently, a bit bigger, not as slim or tailored and they kind of poof out in the butt, hips and around the pockets.
Competitiveness
He wears 33w, 33l - which is a challenge to find - so these were great!

After zipping it separates and is no good

Did not have any separation at any of the seams like other reviews state but maybe because they were a bit baggy on my son so there was no real pressure on the seams
