The microphone supplied works ok but i would advise getting something a little better if you intend to play with the unit a lot

When they were done i hooked it up to the tv via the output sockets and i have to admit that in a family situation this is advisable as kids jumping about all over the shop can still see a big 40 screen with the words rather than having to lean in to the small unit to see the screen

The unit comes with 3 discs of fairly standard pop hits and if you want more just search amazon music for cdg discs and youll find a huge range
