After plugging everything in and did a test. It boots really fast and is not sluggish at all. The response is super fast, no lag if you want to open an app, it does not freeze. Octacore, 6gb of ram speed *.
Not a deal breaker here, and great customer service so far. Support is there for me. Atoto customer service is top notch! Netflix is yet to work but atoto customerservice has been great and has been helping me work out the netflix issue.

The startup is quick, the image and audio quality is excellent.
I was a little skeptical before purchasing it but now i'm very impressed with the product.
It was with the radio not working.
Didn't lose my cup holders, but very hard to fit a drink in them, with the amount this sucks out.

I've been trying to purchase an out of stock atoto unit for a couple of weeks and kaya has been super helpful.
The wireless carplay is a game changer!

After weeks/months of researching single din android units, i finally settled on the atoto 8 unit for my 2005 dodge ram 1500.
Also we can plug into the atoto unit cameras for the rear deck of the boat!
Competitiveness
4g works great with a t-mobile sim card.
The speed, functions, capabilities and price of this unit blows the competition out of the water.
If you are on the fence about this vs other android head-unit brands.
I upgraded from atoto a6 to atoto s8.

If you download the latest firmware you do get android auto wireless but they do caution that it is in beta at this point
