Sure you could spend all that money on an iflash adapter but these do work if you have time to fiddle around.

What i have found is1 you have to install this adapter so cfsd facing the inside of the case not so you can see it right away if you pop the back open

Initially i thought this adapter was defective or never worked to begin with i couldn’t get my macbook to recognize the ipod after doing this mod the ipod would even freeze up and not allow me to put in disk mode or debug

I plugged it into a windows 10 pc and itunes popped up right away prompting me to restore
