It rides perfect on concrete and road pavement. The hoverboard is sturdy and the bluetooth and lights work great. For now until he's real confident i think is the safest option.

Its a great hoverboard for beginners and experts alike. My 8yo loves it, as does his siblings of 10 and 6. My grandson loves his new hoverboard. This is our family's very first hoverboard so we are not "pro level" yet lol.

The battery won’t charge…constantly beeps…then the battery is dead. The battery only lasts for 15-20 min after 24 hours of charging for the first 3 days. Plugged it in and waited.
