Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

My dil loves them. I think the quality and functionality are way more important than the color. Mine is as pristine as when bought after nearly a month of use.

It fits like it is tailor made in the luncbag. It (just) fits my child's [flat, square] lunchbox, with maybe enough room leftover for a juice box or something.

Looks like it'll hold enough food for my 4th grader. The latch is easy to open for children. My kids are 4 and 5 and can easily manipulate these bento boxes.

Cons

A horrible design flaw prevents them from living their best bento life. I was using this box just ince-twice per months, and yet it had broken after about 12 months of using. This just shows how durable it is, not at all!

They are full of annoying nooks and crannies. It’s not the easiest to wash with the lid on, so i was taking the lid off to prevent having my finger pinched. They feel like cheap wannabe tupperware from the dollar store.

These are a really great price as an alternative to a bento box .

Then by the end of the day id have empty containers filling up my lunch bag

Just do not put food directly on the plastic as this type of plastic tends to get a smell so i use plastic snack baggies all the time

Color does vary so note when ordering

It is not leak proof in any way so be sure you separate out things like dips or dressings

No more zip log bags or trying to squeeze various tupperware containers into their lunch boxes

The bad part for me is there are so many attachments so if you have a kid like mine who does not double check she has everything before she goes back to class you will end up with a lunch container that holds nothing in place and all foods will be mixed with just one little attachment not in place can cause me to have to buy a whole new one
