I hope i can get a return, but honestly, be careful as amazon and sk hynix warranty is non existent. Their after-sale service is horrible/non-existent.

It is insanely annoying to use this adapter on a mac. It remains undetected by the disk utility, so there is no way toinitialize it. He goes to install it and plugs it into the ssd cord internally, but the computer won't start!

Very fast i went from 50mbps download speed to 500mbps.

The ssd is fast and is performing beautifully.

Packaging/appearance

Drive comes in nice packaging and the website is really helpful on the cloning process - including the software.

All in all, i say give it a go with this drive, removing 1 start because of poor packaging.

Competitiveness

I did my research to match a compatible drive with the databus in my laptop based on the brand/model/specs of the existing drive.

Yes, it is a little more expensive compared to similar drives, but it really is worth it.

I cloned the factory drive to the sk hynix gold p31 in less than 30 minutes, using the free macrium software.

But, it's blazing fast compare to the 17 year old intel box i built before this newer one.
