Pros & Cons
Pros
Sk hynix deserves praise for filling a glaring hole in the market. Stable, durable, and fast speeds. Includes a three year warranty.
The rate at which data is transferred is highly commendable; however, the flash drive's size is bulky. Copying two 10gb files to the device took about 20 seconds, with a steady transfer rate near 1gb/sec. Used to backup files.
The t31 has a usb-a 3. Gen2 connector. Compatible with ps4, ps5, xbox, window pc & mac. Works with my asus rog ally through a simple usb-c hub. It uses good components and is easy to recommend over traditional usb sticks.
Cool starter for a higher end storage solution. My pc that i ran this test on has an 11th gen core i7 cpu and 32gb ram. Good option for extra storage.

At the time of this review the sk hynix tube t31 512 gb stick was selling for $99.
Packaging/appearance
Don't be deceived by the cool looking "tube" image on the packaging, as the stick itself does not light up or have a tube amp look to it.
The packaging is all paper based, so no plastic!
The box included the t31 512gb stick ssd along with a user instructions pamphlet and terms and conditions pamphlet.

942 mb/s: similar to the real-world large files test.

This was my benchmark to compare to.

Sometimes it seems like physical drives for moving data between devices is a thing of the past but even with the fastest internet and network connections there is nothing faster than physically connecting a drive and moving the files the old fashioned way
