They fit fine and there is a velcro strap across the front to make them tighter with the pull string on the top.
I really liked the quality of the boot, seems very warm but the size chart they have is way off!

I bought a size 6us boot for my 1 year old which is the size he actually uses now his foot measures 5 inches and their boot ended up measuring a whopping of 7 inches waaay too big for his little feet
