If allowed to dry naturally and and take time on install, the edges will stay down no issues.

I dont think this is a flaw in the product as much as its just a difficult shape to adhere to and more likely a design issue.

A heat gun or blow dryer can help slightly shrink the edges for a tighter, clean fit after it has already dried.

It replaced the invisible shield (zagg) screen protectors as their prices when way up.
