Pros & Cons
Pros
I love the crinkle fabric and soft velours fabric in spots on the mat for them to feel during tummy time. The mat isn't very thick, so if i want him in the kitchen with me, i throw a yoga mat under and it works perfect.
Baby loves the owl and bird that have bells and rattles. The colors aren't obnoxious but just colorful enough to keep him interested. Muted colors are more aesthetically pleasing than most play mats.
It is simple with no flashing lights or sounds which i prefer. It is super soft and portable and so far it cleans up easily. Easily movable from room to room is necessary.
The pillow makes tummy time so much more tolerable for her. It also comes with a little pillow which she balances herself on while she's on her stomach. The pillow provides extra support.
Toys are removable and you can hang up your own favorites if you like. Love the soothing colors and softness of the toys. If you position him so he can he will kick the crinkley leaves constantly.
Cons
Baby isn't really interested in it because it's so muted. It's unfortunate that the base is not machine washable. Babies can spit up or drool on the base, especially when teething.
Highlights
Competitiveness
The tummy time pillow is the perfect size, too - we were using a boppy before and it was a little bulky.
