Most recently ive been using the grid and while it worked well there were some knots that were too painful to use on it for very long and if it hurts too much to use it wont be very effective at working it out

If youve used foam rollers before and found them to be too painful to use then you might just want to give this soft roller yellow model a shot

The one thing it did help was when rolling areas where some bone contacts the roller such as the upper back

I dont really notice the patterning on the roller doing anything special

After handling all 3 together i am back to the opinion the foam is likely the same formula just different colors maybe a bit different due to it coming from different batches but i think soft firm extra firm is dicated by the foam depth and not density
