Pros

Purchased as a gift for my nephew. I have a child who has played basketball since his one legged scooting days. They love the spring action.

It is sturdy and very well made. I love the durability. My teenage boys are rough on it and it has held up well.

The rim is metal and the backboard is strong plastic. It has been put through dunks, layups, and cross class shots. The the springs make the rim kind of rattly, but i got used to it. It is probably 2 inches less in diameter then the spalding slam jam.... Read More

It fits over his door but the hanger does scrape some when you try to close the door. There is a lot of padding on the hooks that (1) help protect the door the hoop is hooked on and (2) held prevent the hoop from sagging.

The metal backboard provides a firm surface for foam and plastic basketballs to ricochet off of.
