Power issues and the constantly trying to pair while off (thus draining battery) has been resolved by firmware update.

Sound quality is poor without the optional usb wireless transmitter.

Price

At that price point it was honestly a killer deal and this headset exceeded my expectations which were admittedly low.

Personal background: i have multiple headphones from gaming headphones to regular headphones that can cost from $120 to $500.

This defeats the wireless experience unless you fork up $20 to get a dongle, which is strangely not available at the moment.

I mean, considering that this cost over $100 bucks, i expect it to have some decent bass.

Packaging/appearance

But upon opening, they're more white/gray, and not as vibrant as i'd hoped.

Competitiveness

- i think these are a superb rival for razer kraken v3 pro.

Software is as feature complete as the audeze hq software is currently, which is far better than how it started.

I've got a logitech g935 gaming headset and the skullcandy's sound far better in my opinion.

The skullcandy plyr wins out of all the headsets i own.
