Pros & Cons
Pros
Skullcandy terrain xl is surprisingly loud for such a small speaker. Sound is clear, balanced, and pretty loud. Dual passive radiators give it powerful bass.
Highlights
Quality
Sound quality is excellent for what it is: clear, balanced, and pretty loud.
Sound quality is quite good, although at higher volumes it can seem a tad distorted, but not at normal listening levels.
I am not familiar with the skullcandy brand, nor am i really familiar with the different brands of wireless speakers available.
I've heard better sound quality from exotic brands priced many times higher.
Price
Plus, this is more friendly, price wise, to my wallet, which i like.
So i find the price to be reasonable.
Packaging/appearance
The color is gorgeous, the packaging was great, it feels like a luxury item when you unbox it.
I turned it on as soon as i opened it and it was functional right out of the packaging.
Competitiveness
This is a well put together speaker and at the $80 price point on skullcandy's website this is a diamond in the rough.
I have never been a fan of skullcandy products but this speaker rocks!
The speaker's size and weight make it less portable compared to smaller options on the market.

Ive tried turning it down with the onboard controls and with my iphone controls and in both cases it goes from what id consider a good volume for 3040 down to zero
