I purchased this guy flame for my large big green egg and it does not fit i put this on my kamado joe to test it out before i did any cook i played with it for about 6 hrs started with it opened about 14 inch the temp went up over 500 degrees i closed it almost all the way and waited for an hour didnt go down much then i closed it all the way went down to 320 and held their for hours after i got to looking at it better the lid has gaps and the damper leaks to there is to much air flow the flip up hinge fell off after about three uses
