Pros

Hard to go wrong. Beyond recoverable. Great addition to our propane stove. Works great on my fireplace furnace.

Love the thermostat mode. Works perfectly plus it has the timer. Only problem with the timer is us forgetting to use it.

Was able to sync new controller to old box. Easy to replace original hearth & home remote unit set of the same type.

Cons

Might have been the wrong thing to order.

I replaced the receiver with the one that came with this product.

I would have given this a 5 except for the cost.

First let me state that this was a preopened package and that the remote was already paired to the receiver.

The skytech remote for our fireplace insert stopped working.
