Pros
Red light is supposed to help with sleep. They are brighter than the led's or incondescent lights. The bulb is not super bright, but perfect for our use. They lasts for ever and well worth the price.
Just installed. Packaged well. Compact and efficient too. This fits the bill.
Cons
These are overpriced absolute *. Will be returning them. Flimsy construction. Two thumbs way down.
Tried the bulb in another lamp, dead as a door nail. Give me the bulbs from the 70;'s. Lost my first bulb at roughly 3500 hours in 10 months.
W cfl bulbs give off very little light for a bulb that is supposed to be a 100 watt equivalent. In addition, the brightness is not great. I have a uv flashlight that is brighter.

It added a little color to my porch along with the christmas lights i had out all around our home.
These are good for outdoor lighting particularly garage door opener as color led or any led rf messes with the range of the garage remote.

The first order had one broken and the other popped and went out.
