Quality
Unfortunately, most led bulbs with the e12 candelabra bases are 4 inches or longer.
I installed in outside post lamp along with photocell and have been very pleased.
All opinions expressed in this review are my own and the rating given is based on my personal interaction with the product.
With the regular bulbs, we were constantly replacing them.
Competitiveness
Weren't much brighter than the 40w i replaced.
Although these lights are packaged very nicely and provide light, they do not function correctly in my dimmable application.
Alas, they're not brighter than the 60w incandescent bulbs they replaced.
The e12 candelabra base also limits wattage to 60w incandescent equivalent.

At least these hopefully fingers crossed wont burn out every 35 months like the incandescent bulbs did

The jury is still out on whether the lights are truly dimmable as i tried them on a two wire dimmer which is problematic with leds

I heeded the reviews about the base being delicate and didnt overtorque them when installing

They are nice and bright at a full brightness setting and work well but they are unusable when i try to dim them

Too much trouble to remove and return them and i dont want to take the time
