Again even thought the older queen one we had got hot spots we were hoping the new gel layer would eliminate the hot spots our old one got from our bodies and thus made sleeping on it disruptive in the summer months live in southwest

I also love that because it is a memory foam mattress you dont get disturbed when the other person moves and we dont get that unevenness or rolling to the middle feel you do with spring mattresses my husband is 6 and 270 lb
