The directions were simple to follow although i admit i spent an hour looking for some nails only to realize that they were already on the pieces you just have to unscrew them

After managing to finally put it on the bed i left the windows open to let it air out as it had that factory smell to it

The frame bows a bit in and out on each side

Our box was pretty beat up the ups guy did comment that the box quality was outstanding and when we opened it part of the frame cracked to plyboard inside the headboard

It did not damage the outer leather and still has great support in that spot so i didnt feel it was worth the hassle of returning

Only issue is that the mattress and frame were delivered separately on different days and amazon couldnt figure out what was going on

I had to help the fedex person carry it up to my apartments and its really friggin heavy
