Pros

Small pet select is a premium oyster supplier. The packaging is classy, tough and visually pleasing. The shipping is very fast as well.

Perfect size for my mini chickens (quail) unlike chickens, ducks need oyster shell to be powdery and fine. I have one hen that is a rubber egg layer.

Oyster shell is easily digestible. It's the only one they consume. My ducks eat this like candy.

Cons

Oyster flakes is an incorrect description of this product. No waterproofing or convenient bag. I have mostly bantams and they like to flake the pieces up further with oyster shells, no interest in the seashell.

If it was in a packet/bag as shown in the photo, i could get a scoop into it.

I've ordered this 3 times before and it always came in a bag like the photo.

But i do wish the packaging was better.

I wish they come in a bigger box.

My chickens really enjoy this flaked oyster shell compared to other brands.

I've tried other brands and my chickens and ducks turn their beaks up at them.

My hens like the oyster shell chips over the rock looking brands by far.
