I feared it would but after cranking the knobs as tight as i could it held up

Most of the metal parts are aluminum and the plastic knobs are solid and well made with rubber grips

The provided plastic spring grip cell phone adapter with cold shoe attachment point and gopro style mount point is the least professional feeling part of the kit and even its good for a plastic cell phone gripper

The end of the arm has a metal ball head which will rotate in place and allow you to adjust the ball but holds both the ball and the current rotation position once you tighten it up
