This little spacer solves both problems. Add two metal washers to stabilize and horizontally level the mount. Worked as advertised, thx. Aluminum threaded rod and steel thumbscrew.
Cons
Only one side is actually threaded. It is much smaller for tripod extender for my big lens.

These add flexibility to my setup without becoming flimsy, and they look good as well.
Simple design, and made with quality materials.
This rod is too thin so the base cannot encompass it fully despite it is tight as can be and it just moves down freely with gravity.
I have a full height dslr canon 1dx and purchased the kamerar tank cage it by it self did not fit the camera.

Right now i can not afford a 360 camera, so i am using a go pro clone .
