At the beginning of the smart light revolution, lifx and philips were the only contenders. These bulbs work flawlessly with google assistant. Set up the bulbs in my living room over the fireplace in ceiling fixtures.
Good brightness, cool white colour by default. Brightness and colors as your mood dictates.
Great for the holidays. Works as advertised. Will be ordering more. Fabulous product, great value.
Meross bulb works with eco, siri, and google assistant. Programmed on at sunset off at sunrise. Set up a skill on amazon alexa for using these, also quite simple. Configured them in the app.
Cons
Even after connecting to wifi sometimes they loose the connection. The bulb is also very slow to react to change requests via the app. I know this is not a wifi connectivity issue because the bulbs are literally within 6ft of the wifi router.
Highlights
Quality
My only complaint lies with the meross app itself.
Just needed to deal with one situation where it needed to be re synced with the homekit hub.
Competitiveness
Works well with homekit and doesn’t need internet to be active.
I finally gave up and just used apples homekit app and it has worked flawlessly thus far.
