Pros
It sends our phones a notification if we've left the garage door open and you can even have it notify you when the door opens and closes. Can be set to alert me anytime the door is opened or closed. Nice safety feature.
Easy to install, replaced an old chamberlin garage hub. If you're good with a screw driver and a ladder, this is soooo easy to install.
I'm hooked on meross. No issues and working flawless. Overall very satisfied customer here.
Cons
All support communication is either e-mail or messenger. Alexa treats this device as a lock. It shows up in the app but the status doesnt uodate, so it's basically useless via smartthings.

Thus, we are extremely pleased with two of this wonderful devices hooked unto two mobile phones and google hub.

First, i got this item with a good price.
Competitiveness
I don't know what i expected, but this device worked out much cheaper with smartthings and alexa than the more expensive gocontrol.
