Pros & Cons
Pros
Msg200hk is a well thought out device and a huge upgrade from the insignia. Built in 2007 and technology has radically improved. It was packaged very nicely.
I wish i had purchased this sooner. Integration with homekit-integration works well and was easy to setup in homekit. A truly effortless set up on apple home.
The meross opener works flawlessly. Can control up to three garage doors (turn off unused ports in the meross app).
Installation instructions are concise and could be better with more details. The app provides detailed and easy to understand install guides, however. Keeps the install nice and discrete. The process to order the adapter was easy and shipped very quic... Read More
The only thing to mention is that the red / black wires coming back from the sensor switch are swapped. Attach the sensor to the door and run the relay wire back to the opener.
Cons
At some point it’s no longer worth the aggravation. Very discouraging. Not recommended.
The meross adapter is trash. The wires are short for this to be connected. From the meross receiver to the door sensor also short. It lacks the two additional wire harnesses.

The install for this took less than 15 minutes and then i found out the product wasn’t compatible with my system without the adapter.
Black / red) with the ones on the control box, but the connector is keyed correctly.
Packaging/appearance
I gave it 4 stars and not 5 due to the confusing packaging.
Now that this is integrated with homekit, i get a pop up on the carplay when am near the house and can open /close the garage.
There has been times in the past where we accidentally pushed the nexx app twice while while driving away and come back with th... Read More
However the homekit code is not on the homekit instructions where is says it is.
Competitiveness
I have a meross smart system which i'm mostly happy with.
Replaced an insignia homekit garage door controller that needed a sensor battery too often.
Chamberlain decided to end support for their devices to be homekit, probably because they couldn’t charge you a subscription si... Read More
Also boc says msg100 and not msg100hk, though the bx does say homekit compatible.
