In order to set a timer i had to use it through alexa i could not do it through their app with much each at first as could not see the option

You would need to protect from rain as when a plug is plugged into the socket there is no cover protecting the plug itself

The power cable is ridiculously short and i had to extend it

Also i wanted to fix it to the roof timber of an outside room but there are no fixing holes
