Works very well and dependably. Amazon has alexa products on sale. App integrates seamlessly with alexa and google home.
This is much better than it being too tall and blocking one at the top or button though. Learn from my mistakes.
Cons
I feel amazon conned me by recommending this as “amazon choice’. Only access 2. Typical chinese “pigeon english’ confusing instructions with no help.
Meross plugs are not compatible with alexa. They were discovered in the alexa app but then kept reporting server/device not responding.

I'm so grateful for the meross expertise & quality control used in making these plugs.
With the meross app, these are great for accent and effect lighting.
Other than that, this is an incredible product.
If you add a device, it will sync up between any devices you are logged into with the account.
Price
Never used this brand but the price was right.

I have numerous meross smart plugs throughout my house.
Set up was super easy, worked like a champ.
But the meross brand have not let me down.

The secret seems to be starting out with a bluetooth connection to the device getting connected and then the handoff to google home
