The first plug took about 5 attempts, the second was over 20 (close to getting thrown in the bin).
Price
Went for cheaper option, and ,so far, have absolutely no regrets.
This brand gets great reviews and are a good price.
For the price, i have to say that these are an absolute bargain.
Competitiveness
They have a sister company called refoss and that app works in a pretty identical way and has google sync options too.
I've tried other smart plugs but theses are the best.
Sure, the power strips and the plugs make noise when they are triggered but all does, it's not just meross.
I've noticed others complaining about that pairing of matter devices compared to others.

They also dont have the energy monitoring feature which although i cant speak for the accuracy is a nice feature to have

So forgot to tv off or electric fire off simply flick it off at the touch of a phone or tell google amazon to do it for you
