Only reason for less than 5 stars is that people who do not have some technology experience might have trouble getting it set up on their network and the instruction will not help them very much

Sometimes there will be a slight lag in response but that has nothing to do with camera

I have played with all the settings and it will send a snapshot or video when motion is detected

Sometimes when i am out of town we talk back and forth through the camera kind of like using facetime or skype

The only drawback i had was not related to the camera but to the app that the manual recommends in mobile phone works great but on a tablet not

There are no detailed instructions with this product so if your are not tech savvy like me you may be frustrated
