My only gripe for it is that there isnt a builtin connector for the earth cable so you have to make a joint for earth out of this box

The problem with the standalone plugs is they can be quite bulky so having furniture in front of them leaves a big space at the back power strips have a similar issue although not as bad but using one of these wireless switches as it acts as a middle man between the plug and the item you only have to worry about the same inconvenience as a plug on its own

Admittedly when setting it up i did it wrong a few times but mostly because i didnt notice that it states on the box the l and r cables and which side is in and which is out

I also did not realise at first that you dont have to undo the unit at the back you just slide off each side to expose the connectors

Although to switch using this device between items requires a bit of unwiring its not much different to switching relocating a kesa plug just undo a few terminals and do them back up

Lastly the thing that can be annoying with power strips and plugs is they can have leds on continuously if the item has no option to disable them
