Mine are stripped. For me one just falls off its mount. And since i’m closing harder then it creates a loud noise when it snaps into place. Only 2 small screws mount a steel braket to the plastic soft close.

Our door is only about 85lbs so we find the door is a bit heavy to pull through the damper when its closedopen the damper set is rated for 176lbs

The door brackets were a bit odd to line up with the tabs and needed to be cut to suit my door thickness
