Both doors are out of square and both doors have slats that shift and completely separate. The slats themselves aren't wide enough to fill in the distance between the outer boards.

That is probably because my house is older and the floor isnt level plus not much height room to spare

According to the description there may be gaps after the install and it requires some time to expand to close the gaps

I also stained the wood which needs a minimum of 2 coats but 3 is recommended

The main issue i had was even after all the steps i took to ensure everything is done properly i still noticed a hairline gap that i can see through which i will eventually caulk and paint over

However it doesnt come with hanging hardware and even though we purchased hanging hardware from the same company smartstandard installing it was the biggest pain
