Pros

When installing i recommend going 1/16 higher than what install instructions recommend. Only weird thing is the instructions say to “cut the bolts” for a door less than 1-3/4 inch thick. Easy to install.

Instructions are very precise. Study and easy to slide.

Door glides smoothly and silently. The bolts that attach the roller mechanism to the door are hex head.

Cons

The bolt spacers interfere with the rolling of the door.

We built a 7ft tall barn door that was 45 inches wide and needed an 8ft kit to finish the project.

Screwed into 2x6 with a impact drill and 2 bolts ripped in half.

We had to first attach a 2x6 board to the wall studs because using molly bolts to attach to sheetrock was just out of the question.
