Pros

The quality of the hardware is excellent. Easy to read instructions, sturdy, and great pricing. As diy’ers, really appreciate good solid products to use. Very pleased with our purchase.

The door pull is way larger & heavier than i expected. Very sturdy and comes complete with rails, handles, stoppers, etc.

Oak because of its durability and likeness to our trim. Header also adds a nice touch that compliments the barn door well. Aside from this knock, the rollers are extremely smooth and quiet.

Cons

This kit is not a simple install. Lag wood screws are a 1/2” too short. They are not a standard size, and i can not find any hardwood store that carries these.

Quality

I was impressed with the quality of the items in this kit!

I had zero concerns about this kit (aside from the alignment of the two rail sections as noted), so i'm not too concerned with the price.

I don't think there's any adjustability in the doubler plate that connects the two (see photo with the plate and four bolts).

It would have gone a lot quicker had we not had issues with the header board we put up before the door and hardware.

Price

Looks good, installs easy, price is right.
