Pros

The classic m-series pentax lenses are gems. It does only one thing, but it does it exceptionally well. It is sharp out to the edges, there is hardly any ca and the bokeh is nice and smooth.

Quality japanese made lens, even 25-30 years later it's stilla worthy tool.

It works very well - allowing, of course, for the limits of all macro photography.

Competitiveness

I just switched back to pentax from canon and realize that for a fraction of the money i can get some of the best slr lenses available.

This isthe same as the $300 pancake lens, probably better for video.
