Pros

Also makes a great harpoon for the young honda and prius types. Out of the box, it's smooth, so i scuffed up the top side and sprayed some truck bed liner paint on it for some traction.

Stepping up through the camper's back door has not been as much of a problem as stepping down out of it, facing out. It also makes it easier for the kids to climb in the back of the truck. Looks bad a$$ and keeps people off my tail end.

Cons

If your shoes are the slightest bit wet or the step is wet, it is very slippery.

The shaft is roughly 3/16 narrower than a standard ball mount, in both height and width, so it wobbles a lot in a 2 receiver. But it has one big downside---it is way too small for a 2 inch hitch.

This is a disappointing and poor quality product. Maybe these people need a new foundry in china. This is the type of low end product you'd typically find at a bargain tool store like harbor freight.

It is durable and holding up well after 4 years.

Great solid product, i took the advice of another reviewer and got some step grip material to make it slip resistant.

Heavy duty design but paint fades to gray in first month which looks poor.

I have had mine since ~ november 2016 and as of june 2019 i was slowly rear ended ( speed less than 5 mph).

Price

Looks bad a$$ and keeps people off my tail end.

Other than that it's amazing and for what you get, the price is pretty incredible too.
