Pros

The only tools required are a 16 socket, an extension, and a ratchet. Deep socket set is a must have.

I am rather mechanically inclined but feel the novice can do this also with out that much hassle. No install issues.

Very pleased, with look and better entry for kids. Great item. Nice finish. I'm really glad the yellow smittybilt sticker is an add on.

Cons

First review written on amazon, first smittybilt product bought and will be last. Two nuts on either side of the body mount on each side of a door needs to be removed and product slides right in. They will get hit on bottom, not in between tubes.

The day after install the driver side step bar started squealing like a stuck pig.

As you can imagine, these rails (as well as all of my skid plates) took a severe beating.
