Pros

The finish reminds me of the old sterling submachineguns. Do not hesitate to buy these. They look awesome and are very sturdy.

Heavy, but easy to install with a ratchet, 5/8 socket, and a couple of jack stands to hold them up. They are solid after the bolts are tightened. No modifying needed with the slotted mounting holes.

These bars are so tuff you can pick up the whole jeep with them. Just installed these on my new 2016 jeep wrangler unlimited. They bolt under two frame mounts and the stock rock rails bolt to the jeep in four places.

Smittybilt rock sliders offer added protection in the parking lot also. No damage to my jeep and minor scratches to the rail. Looked great out of the box and even better on my new jeep.

I write honest reviews from my actual experience after purchasing and using the product. Very happy with my purchase.

Cons

What a disappointment from someone like smittybilt. The installation is a huge pain! Haven't decided whether to try to fix it myself or to go through the hassle of removing and returning the thing.
