Pros

I think folks with nimble fingers can bolt in both inner sets of bolts without lowering the gas tank. Only problem with this product is that the grease zerk onthe swing out tire carrier is to high. Update from a few year dont forget to grease the fitt...  Read More

Very good quality and very good packaging. It structurally feels sturdy.

The bumper is quarter inch, and the welds look good to me. Put this on my 1995 jeep yj. Installed on my 93 wrangler. Great product looks great on my 2003 tj.

This bumper looks great and is built great, but it does rattle some while driving (i have a 16 rim on a 35 tire on it) the only annoying thing is the rattle, but again it's worth every penny. Everything is quiet, no rattles.

Cons

Power coating is a joke. Bumper does not fit the 87-95 yj. Tire rack rattles and can be fixed by tightening bolts on pivot to cause more friction.

Quality

Overall i am very pleased with this product.

Took about 3 hours with the help of my neighbor to install.

I had to bore out the hole on the bumper about 1/4 inch to fit with the frame.

Had to drill out both under sides of bumper to make the bumper align with the frames bolt holes (1/4 off both sides).

Price

The price is good, easy install, and a great product.

Shipping

And shipping was faster than i expected.

Was no damage despite the boxes being beat up during shipping.

Packaging/appearance

Very good quality and very good packaging.

Super easy install on my 06 tj, however one of the holes on the bumper didn’t match up to my frame.

Competitiveness

I would totally buy smittybilt products again.

This bumper looks great with my smittybilt tube fenders and smittybilt stinger on my 2004 jeep wrangler tj rubicon.

For smittybilt src classic rear bumper and tire carrier.
